Mettu Srinivas Reddy has asked me announce the 5th Master Class in Liver Disease titled ‘The Practice of Living Donor Liver Transplantation’ between 28th and 31st January 2015 at Chennai, India
Prof Rela, chief of their unit and Professor of Liver Surgery at Kings college, London is the course director. The course will be driven by an international faculty from liver transplantation centres across the world. The course has been formally endorsed by the International Liver Transplantation Society (ILTS) and the Liver Intensive care group of Europe (LICAGE).
The four day program includes talks, debates, case discussions and surgical video sessions for the first three days and live surgery sessions planned on day 4 with one paediatric and adult LDLT. The program overview is:
Day 1 The Live Liver Donor
Day 2 Adult and paediatric recipient: Assessment and intra-operative issues
Day 3 Adult and paediatric recipient: Peri-operative care
Day 4 Live surgery demonstration: Adult and Paediatric LDLT
