Davide is a Junior Clinical Research Fellow in organ retrieval and transplantation at The Roy Calne Transplant Unit at Addenbrooke's Hospital and a supernumerary anatomy demonstrator at the University of Cambridge. He started working in Rome as a cardiothoracic trainee. After two illuminating clerkships in the UK and US, he moved to Cambridge attracted by the overwhelming appeal of abdominal transplantation and its ever-growing research opportunities. His research interests focus on complement inhibition therapies and their feasibility in treating antibody-mediated rejection. As a webmaster, Davide is eager to bolster the connections among transplant trainees across the UK and keep them updated about valuable resources, events, and research opportunities via an intuitive online platform.
